I am happy to announce that, at long last, I have completed my commission with PlayGround SF and Planet Earth Arts and have a full-length play ready to be read! My completed script for “All Those Stars Are Airplanes” will be given a table-read on Saturday, October 5th, where I will get to hear it performed by professional actors. This full-length piece is an expansion of my ten-minute play “Sh*t Farming for Fun and Profit”, which was performed as part of 2018’s Best of PlayGround performance.

“All Those Stars Are Airplanes” follows wives Moira and Jenna as they balance Moira’s life as a farmer in Iowa, entrenched in her local community, with Jenna’s work as an environmental scientist looking to shakeup the status quo for the sake of the planet. Their teenage children, Laura and David, also have plenty to figure out as they navigate growing up in a world that seems to be crumbling around them.

This project has been a long time coming and I am so glad that I will be able to share it with my PlayGround community!
