“You’re Going to Die”, an open mic night in conversation about death and dying

It can be difficult pitching a book where your protagonist dies in the prologue. But the “You’re Going to Die” open mic, being held at The Lost Church in San Francisco this upcoming Thursday seems like a great place to talk about death and what comes after.

You’re Going to Die: Poetry, Prose & Everything Goes… is an open mic event, the communal offering for us to explore the conversation of death & dying, to embrace our losses & mortality, to grieve, bereave & honor those we’ve lost & love… while all the while making room for simply being ALIVE.

I will be attending the performance and open mic on Thursday, 9/12, and hopefully I will be able to read an excerpt from The Traveling Triple-C Incorporeal Circus. But either way, I hope it will be a great show and I cannot wait to see people there!
