I want to share a huge thank you to everyone who attended “An Evening with Alanna McFall” at Potrero Stage last night. It was an amazing time to see two of my plays on stage again, and to get to share some of The Traveling Triple-C Incorporeal Circus with my theater community.
And an extra thank you to Annie Stuart (who made her directing debut last night!), Sarah Gasser, Melanie Marshall, Karen Offereins, Jennifer McGeorge and Kaylamay Paz Suarez for directing, teching and acting last night. For Melanie and Karen, I got to see them reprise their original roles in “No Place Like Hell for the Holidays” and “Sh*t Farming for Fun and Profit”, respectively, and I am so glad I got to work with Jennifer again and Kaylamay for the first time! My circle of peers in the Bay Area theater scene keeps growing and I could not be happier about it.
Next up! This train does not stop, because weekend after next you can see my ten-minute play “Hiiiii” performed as part of ShortLived VIII at Piano Fight!
Buy your tickets for Round 6 now, come and watch six great short plays, and vote for your favorite of the night (which will hopefully be mine!).
