So in great news, I have been pitching a script (Crypt-O Keepers) to Awesome Theatre as part of their WeirdStock new works competition, and I just made it through to Round 2! This is where you all come in!

On Thursday, October 2nd, 7pm at Eclectic Box Theater in SF, eight playwrights including myself are going head-to-head in a “Pitch Slam”, where we will deliver our three-minute show pitches and randomly selected audience members will score them to determine who is moving on to Round 3. So folks are incentivized to seed lots of friends and family in the house!
This year’s prompt is “ScaryBusiness.io! Anything and everything related to work life. Mocking use of corporate lingo and unnecessary startup acronyms were encouraged.” My pitch, Crypt-O Keepers, fits this far too well and will be the scariest bit of corporate hellscape you see until the next time you read the news!
You can purchase tickets for the PitchSlam here, and Code “FENDS” will get folks $5 off. And please pass this along to anyone else who would be interested in weird theater, corporate satire, new works and awesome people!
