I realized yesterday that I didn’t do an August update, but that’s honestly because enough stuff has been moving that I’ve been busy. So here it is!
Writing
This past Sunday, I started Killing My Lobster’s Sketch Writing 1 class, which runs for ten weeks and culminates in an online class reading on October 25th. I have seen a lot of great shows through Killing My Lobster and cannot wait to hone my craft at sketch writing.
I am also joining PlayGround’s Writer’s Pool for the upcoming season! I took a year away to focus on my commissioned full-length pieces with PlayGround, but getting back into the Monday Night ten-minute plays is going to be a lot of fun.

Reading and Watching Resolutions
August was a very busy reading month, and it has felt strange to not be slamming through books in September so far. But I am 3/4 of the way through the doorstopper that is Dostoevsky’s The Idiot, and will have lots of thoughts about that in the future.
